Living with any chronic illness or pain is obviously a large toll on one’s mental health. This post is about some of the ways that I tried to overcome this, however it may be different for you.

Staying Busy – Hobbies

One of the ways I, personally, got through this time is by finding a lot more hobbies. I read a lot of books and sketched a lot. I watched TV during my free time and made sure I wouldn’t be bored and just in my room.

I kept in contact with my friends, playing video games with them as well. I basically found things that I could use to pass the time and keep my mind from wandering too much. Try to find something that you can do during this time and don’t forget to try to have fun, no matter the circumstances.
