Psychological Well-being Part 5

1–2 minutes

Believing.

Victory Mindset

Believe. Believe in the people who surround you. Believe in your doctors. Believe in yourself.

It sounds easier said than done. That is true. However, that is how you stay positive. Instead of thinking about whether you will recover or not, think about what you are planning on doing that. Don’t worry so much.

It took me a long time to understand this. Doctors and psychologists told me this repeatedly, but it was hard. Not having a definite cure and not knowing whether I would recover or not scared me. I didn’t believe in my recover. However, I decided to rely on the people who cared for me. Rather than just ignoring them, I chose to trust them and do what I could to help them. In my case, I focused on my school and physical therapy rather than worrying about how I would go back to being “normal”

Not knowing what to do eats you up. It ruins your days, but what’s the point. Worrying about something won’t change anything. Focus on doing what you can. Have a victorious mindset. Believe that you will overcome it. Trust others and do your part. Trust me, hypothesizing what life could be won’t change anything, you have to be the change, and that starts by believing that you will be victorious.
